By examining the seasonal variations of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, B, Fe, Zn, Mn, and Cu contents of leaves stable periods and appropriate sampling time can be determined. Leaf samples were obtained from 4 orchards in Tarsus district of İçel provience. Leaf samples were regularly taken every two weeks from September to May during both years. The results show that from Novamber 1 to January 1 and January 15 to March 15 are the most stable periods according to sampling time. When the seasonal trend of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, B, Fe, Zn, and Mn contents of leaves were concurrently investigated, it was seen that while N and P contents increased during the flowering period, contents of the same elements decreased to harvest period. While K, Mg, B, Zn and Mn contents decreased during the floering and fruit growing periods, Ca and Fe contents increased to harvest period. While B content decreased during the flowering period, content of the same element increased fruit growing period. Keywords :
