According to the results, varieties in Ceylanpınar were ten days earlier and had shorter plant height, higher hectoliter weight and protein content than those in Diyarbakır. The varieties had high performance for the other characters studied in Diyarbakır conditions. Seed yield of varieties were ranged 388-487 kg da-1. While the highest mean seed yield was 487 kg da-1 for Vamıkhoca-98, the least mean seed yield was 388 kg da-1 for Bornova-92. It was found a tendency of increase in Ceylanpınar conditions with 40 % decrease in seed yield. Vamikhoca-98, Suleymanbey-98 and Akhisar-98 were advised for Diyarbakır condition; Akhisar-98, Sahin-91 and Vamikhoca-98 were found to be suitable for Ceylanpınar. Keywords : Barley, Variety, Yield
