GRAFTING PHYSIOLOGIES IN VEGETABLES

Viewed : 1854 - Downloaded : 2021 Although grafted seedlings have been used in the world since 20th century they have been produced by the private seedling firms in our country for the last 4-5 years. Since grafted seedlings are resistant to soilborne patogens and abiotic stres conditions and increase yield, using grafted seedlings increases day by day. Grafted seedlings are widespread in tomato, eggplant and watermelon. Nowadays possibilities to use commercially grafted seedlings of pepper and cucumber are also investigated.
