Viewed : 1443 - Downloaded : 1081 Jojoba, originated from Americas, was introduced to Europe and other countries during 1970`s. Demand to the jojoba oil as rapidly increased upon recognition of its cosmetic use. This also enhanced jojoba production and its oil marketing throughout the world. Although jojoba is a desert plant, it can also grow in sub-tropical regions. In the present paper, jojoba growing status and investigation of developing opportunities in Turkey were discussed.
