A NEW APPROACH TO STUDY SOIL GREDATION USED FOR LAND CONSOLIDATION

Viewed : 1778 - Downloaded : 1110 In this study agricultural lands of Osmankalfalar village (Korkuteli) have been graded şenol Land Evaluation Method developed by Şenol in the frame of FAO (1977) for the purpose of land consolidation. The research results showed that Şenol's land evaluation method based on an evaluation principle in consideration of morphological, physical, chemical and other properties of land and soil, and the relationship of these properties with the need of land use type was found to be more pratical and secure. Howewer, succesfull usage of Şenol's land evaluation method depends on the correct physical, social and economical data of research area. Keywords : Consolidation, Land Evaluation, Soil Index
