Viewed : 1435 - Downloaded : 589 350 Adults of S. parcesetosum the predator of citrus whitefly have been released to a citrus orchard having the host at Bahtılı village of Antalya in 1993 to test acclimatization and to fallow its population. It was seen that the predator could owervinter and colonise at the orchard. Next year, some S. parcesetosum indiviuals were collected from the orchard and released to several citrus orchards having different climatical conditions. Also these releases showed that the predator could owervinter, reproduce and distribute in summer monts. This study showed that S. parcesetosum could suppress its host. Keywords :
