¹ Batı Akdeniz Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü, ANTALYA Viewed : 2711 - Downloaded : 2027 Resistance formation is evoked by the host and plant pathogen when they do concominantly present at the same place, trigering biochemical pathways and showing itself with precursor of salicylic acid synthesis and expression of its binding proteins in planta. Whereas this case shows some differences in interaction, realizing between pest and host. In addition some interactions occuring between pest and host result in signal transduction, jasmonic acid-like compounds are the main factors conferring transduction of signal between two channels therefore, some cases sourcing some properties of host leads to antibiosis, antixenosis that are trigerring factors for forming resistance. It is known that an antagonism (cross-talk) which is between signal transporters and with differantiation in signal transduction occurring between pathogen –host and pest – host changes signal communication in resistance as well. This review gives some updated and summarised information on pest-resistance to reader in the shed of these mentioned knowledge. Keywords : Resistance, insect, interaction, elicitor
